After grabbing some ice for our $1.50 Wal Mart (see day 2) styrofoam
cooler in Worland, we headed out on US-16 through Cody, WY to the east
entrance of Yellowstone NP.
Going through Cody at about noon, we picked up some Subway for dinner
that night. We also stopped at another Wal-Mart for food and supplies,
thinking that it might be days before we saw electricity or indoor
plumbing again.
Then 50 miles up into the mountains to the east entrance of
Yellowstone (which is closed from 8PM to 8AM this summer for
construction, btw)
